From the 1st tee, golfers experience a panoramic view of the course. The par-3, third hole descends into a tropical sanctuary where century-old mangroves line the fairways. Play continues through sea grass and dunes until ascending back to the headlands on hole 16. Hole 17, the dramatic El Caiman, calls to mind the oceanside fairways of Pebble Beach and from January to March, happens to be one of the premier spots in the world for watching humpback whales migrate through the Mona Passage on their way to the African Coast. Hole 18, aptly named Dos Rezos - Two Prayers - because it crosses the ocean twice, one of six dramatic holes. The 19th hole, where weary golfers gather to imbibe sweet tropical nectars and share tales of paradise, is by far the most entertaining of all.
